Its been a while!

Just tossing out a heads up that I have NOT given up on this animal.  Work got in the way and I've been traveling out of state over 80% of the time.  Read on for where I'm at!

Over the last couple months I've been trying to find someone in the local area that can media blast my car for me.  I have every single bit off of that thing so all I need at this point is the paint removed.  I don't have a way to do it at the shop I'm in, so remote services won't really work for me.  In addition to issues trying to locate someone, I haven't had the time to get it out to anyone if I did find a place to help.  Most of the work travel is going to end by the beginning of March so I hope to pick this back up with a fervor!

I also started getting all the parts and pieces to get the floors replaced. I got a small welder, and have started figuring out all the bits needed for that. Once the car is back down to bare metal, out with the old floors and in with the new stuff!

The other thing I did was figure out how to get into the http://1stgencelica.com/ forum.  There's an absolute WEALTH of information and a strong community there to help me figure out some of the stuff I'm missing.  I've got some questions here and there that I'm sure that group will be able to answer for me.

Beyond that?  Trying to look at suspension options and engine builders in the area.

Basically I'm getting to a point where I need others to help me do work that I can't.  We'll see where that ends up!

I'll try to update this more as I get away from work.  I'll leave you an awesome picture of a transmission.
