The next step int the process was to deconstruct the car down to a bare chassis.  This will get it ready it ready for media blasting the process to build it back up from the ground.  It also makes it easier to get on a rotisserie.

An old picture and a new place

A lots happened since I last posted.. Life tried getting in the way, and I tried making excuses.  Ultimately I was still working on the car, just not updating this blog as much.  Let's see what I can do to fill in the blanks!

Project Overview

This post will give a rough overview of the project.  What I'm looking at, rough (VERY rough) pricing, and where I'm hoping to go with everything.  I wanted to have a plan in place so I could track items better, keep it realistic, and document the overall process to see how far I sway from my original ideas.

The Beginning

I've always had a fascination with older Toyotas.  What's older?  Try 1974 and older. Everything from Corollas to Crowns, the Hilux, Coronas, and the Celica (and more).  Out of all of them, the first two years of the Celica (1971-1972) were always my favorite.
