Short Update

This week I didn't have much to update on.  I spent most of the last week working on getting the last of the sound deadener out of the car. I also started looking at tools, rotisseries, and more!




After seeing the floors, I realized I'm going to need some metal working tools.  I'm looking at a small-ish bead roller and a bending brake.  Preferably I'm looking for vise mounted ones so I don't eat up a lot of floor space.  I'll also be getting a shrinker/stretcher for making bends and corners in metal, and maybe a set of shears.  I also started looking at welders.  I won't need anything major (and am trying to keep costs down) so we'll see where I end up!

Past the last of the deadener removal, I started to make more room for this project by pretty much reorganizing the entire space.  I got some shelving to get some of the items up off the floor too.  I'm trying to limit how much shelving I get as again, I'm trying to save as much floor space as possible.

And yes, I have a bbq in the shop.. and a mini fridge.. this summer should be fun!

I also updated the hours and costs tracking sheet to reflect recent purchases.

That's pretty much it this week.  I'm dead set on getting started on suspension for next week and trying to get some stuff ordered.  We'll see where that ends up!
